Went to Forest Park to do the permanent Orienteering course. We had a good time exploring all the nooks and crannies, finding the markers. There were a few missing, as it was installed years ago. But, we also had a good time at the playground afterwards! Nice setup, and several birthday and graduation parties were going on around the area. Fun times!

Great park really. Lots of services and very accommodating. Only draw back are the people, people bring their dogs to a park FULL of kids without a leash. There is always construction going on it feels like. There are also a lot of paths to walk. This park really has a lot of features that are great. There are never any workers or attendees to enforce policies. There is a water feature section that always has 1 fixture inactive. The remaining 3 are fine but itβs just the details of what is supposed to be and just not. Iβd say definitely check it out. You wonβt be sorry.

Any place with achlorophylous mycoheterotrophic blueberry relatives gets an automatic 5 stars. Google "ghost pipe" and prepare to have your mind blown!

This is a fun park. The playground and splash pad are amazing! The rental rooms are very nice. The bathrooms for the public are give and take. Avoid the picnic pavilion, we see needles in this area on the regular. The trails are pretty nice and well kept.

Itβs nice, but it doesnβt have restrooms or a place to wash your hands. Today they installed portable toilets, which are not at all easy to use with small children.
